워킹 아일랜드 개인정보처리방침

워킹 아일랜드(이하 "앱")는 사용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여깁니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루고, 어디에 보관하며, 어떻게 지울 수 있는지 설명합니다.

1. 걸음수

앱은 아이폰에 내장된 만보기(동작 및 피트니스)에서 걸음수를 읽습니다. 건강 앱(HealthKit)에는 접근하지 않으며, 걸음수는 친구를 키우고 기록을 보여 주는 데에만 씁니다. 언제든 iOS 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 동작 및 피트니스에서 권한을 끄실 수 있습니다.

2. 기기에 저장되는 것

친구의 레벨, 도감, 조약돌, 섬 꾸미기, 날짜별 걸음 기록은 기기 안에 저장됩니다. 계정을 연동하지 않으셨다면 이 데이터는 기기를 떠나지 않으며, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 사라집니다.

3. 랭킹 서버로 전송되는 것

랭킹과 '남의 섬 구경'을 위해 아래 항목이 저희 서버로 전송됩니다.

• 기기에서 처음 한 번 발급받는 임의의 플레이어 번호 (이름·전화번호 등과 무관한 무작위 값)
• 직접 지으신 섬 이름
• 친구별 레벨과 도감에 등록된 종, 섬 테마와 장식 배치

섬 이름은 랭킹과 남의 섬 구경 화면에서 다른 이용자에게 공개됩니다. 실명이나 알아볼 수 있는 개인정보를 섬 이름으로 쓰지 않으시길 권합니다. 이름은 파트너 화면의 ⋯ > 설정에서 언제든 바꾸실 수 있습니다.

4. 계정 연동과 백업 (선택)

기기를 바꿔도 섬을 이어받을 수 있도록 Apple·구글·카카오 계정을 연동할 수 있습니다. 연동하지 않아도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓰실 수 있습니다.

• 앱은 로그인 결과로 받은 서명된 토큰만 서버에 보내고, 서버가 각 제공자의 공개키로 검증합니다.
• 계정 식별자는 원문을 저장하지 않고 임의의 값을 섞어 해시(SHA-256)한 형태로만 보관합니다. 데이터가 유출되어도 어느 계정인지 되짚을 수 없습니다.
• 이메일 주소는 연동 직후 어느 계정인지 화면에 보여 드리는 데에만 쓰이며, 서버에 저장하지 않습니다.
• 연동하시면 복원을 위해 게임 저장(걸음 기록 포함)이 서버에 백업됩니다.

5. 광고

파도상회에서 직접 선택하셨을 때만 Google AdMob 보상형 광고가 재생되며, 그 대가로 조약돌을 받습니다. 앱은 iOS 추적 권한(App Tracking Transparency)을 요청하지 않고 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 사용하지 않으므로, 앱 바깥의 활동을 추적하지 않습니다. Google은 광고를 내보내는 과정에서 기기 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 Google 개인정보처리방침과 AdMob 데이터 사용 안내를 참고하세요.

6. 인앱 결제

조약돌 구매는 Apple의 App Store 시스템을 통해 처리되며, 앱은 카드번호 등 결제 정보에 접근하지 않습니다.

7. 알림

조약돌이 가득 찼을 때, 아침 인사, 팻말에 받을 것이 생겼을 때 보내는 알림은 모두 기기 안에서 만들어지는 로컬 알림입니다. 알림을 위해 외부로 정보를 보내지 않습니다.

8. 보관 기간과 삭제

• 기기 안의 데이터: 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
• 계정 연동: 앱의 ⋯ > 계정 연동에서 직접 해제하실 수 있습니다.
• 서버 기록 전체 삭제: 아래 이메일로 섬 이름과 함께 요청해 주시면 랭킹 기록과 백업을 모두 지워 드립니다. 영업일 기준 7일 이내에 처리합니다.

9. 제3자 제공

앱은 위에 적은 것 외에 어떤 정보도 제3자에게 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다.

Walking Island Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026

This policy explains what Walking Island ("the app") handles, where it is kept, and how you can have it deleted.

1. Step count

The app reads your step count from the iPhone's built-in pedometer (Motion & Fitness). It does not access the Health app (HealthKit). Steps are used only to grow your friend and to show your own records. You can revoke the permission at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness.

2. Stored on your device

Your friends' levels, field guide, pebbles, decorations, and daily step history are stored on the device. If you have not linked an account, this data never leaves your phone and is removed when you delete the app.

3. Sent to the ranking server

To support the leaderboard and island visits, the following is sent to our server:

• A random player number issued once on your device (unrelated to your name, phone number, or any personal detail)
• The island name you chose
• Your friends' levels, the species in your field guide, and your island theme and decoration layout

Your island name is visible to other players on the leaderboard and island-visit screens. We recommend not using your real name or anything identifying. You can change it any time from ⋯ > Settings on the Partner screen.

4. Account linking and backup (optional)

You may link an Apple, Google, or Kakao account so your island survives a change of device. Everything in the app works without linking.

• The app sends only the signed token from your sign-in, which the server verifies against each provider's public keys.
• Your account identifier is never stored in its original form — only as a salted SHA-256 hash, so a data breach could not trace it back to your account.
• Your email address is used only to show you which account was linked; it is not stored on the server.
• Linking uploads a backup of your save (including step history) so it can be restored.

5. Advertising

A Google AdMob rewarded ad plays only when you choose to watch one at the shop in exchange for pebbles. The app does not request iOS tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), so it does not track your activity outside the app. Google may collect device information while serving the ad; see Google's Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses data.

6. In-app purchases

Pebble purchases are handled by Apple's App Store. The app never sees your payment details.

7. Notifications

Reminders — pebbles ready, the morning greeting, requests waiting at the signpost — are local notifications created on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them.

8. Retention and deletion

• On-device data: removed when you delete the app.
• Account link: you can unlink yourself from ⋯ > Link account in the app.
• Full server deletion: email us with your island name and we will delete your leaderboard record and backup, within 7 business days.

9. Third parties

Apart from what is described above, the app does not sell or share any information with third parties.
